They return for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. (There are some Sundays when, instead of leaving, the children may stay in the church and the priest will call the children forward for a homily that will be geared toward them).

Basic Family Prayers
We've made two additions from last year to our "Basic Family Prayers" sheet of prayer cards for your Family Prayer Corner. We've added Grace Before Meals and the Apostles Creed, which we will be learning about this year!
Print out this two-page sheet (cardstock would be
great) and have the children cut out each prayer. Put them in your family prayer corner so the
children can easily access them and practice these important Catholic prayers.
