                    A Family of Faith - October- Level 6                       Exploring the Profession of Faith   Grade Level 6 Coordinators: Jennifer Tennant and Kathleen Creamer Level 6 Student Workbook Guidance We encourage each family to have a Bible that is accessible to your child/children. Begin by reviewing the Sign of the Cross and then say the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory be to the Father.  All these prayers can be found on p. 6. Your Level 6 child will learn to recite the Apostles’ Creed p. 13. Independently read p. 10-11 and then discuss with the family. If you have a Bible try completing p. 12   Read independently p. 14-15 and discuss with family and complete pgs. 17-18   Exploring the Trinity - Complete p. 20   Read the Story of Creation p. 21-32.  Choose one or two of the activities as follow up.    As a family read the Story of St. Francis pgs. 34-35. Read along on p. 37 while listening to the “Canticle of the Sun” on You Tube .  Ther

A Family of Faith: October - Grade 3 Grade 3 Coordinators: Linda Scanlon & Anne O’Connor Welcome! You are embarking on the most important role a parent can ever undertake during overwhelming times. We are here to support you and will help you during this journey. Let us be a strong, prayerful community, united by the love of God.   Suggestions: It might be helpful to begin with a review of the Sign of the Cross and remind your child of the Trinity.   Other prayers to review: Our Father, Hail Mary, and the Glory Be. The Grace Before Meals prayer can be led by parents but when your child knows it by heart, he/she will enjoy the honor of leading the prayer with their family. You may want a copy of this prayer posted in plain sight so that your child can readily see the words (perhaps on the frig or wherever is doable for your family).     You may wish to hold off memorizing the Apostles’ Creed until next month.
