OCTOBER GRADE-LEVEL SUPPORT GUIDE:
This guide will provide you with an overview of the activities in each lesson, grade-level suggestions and more.
*At the 10AM Mass we have a Children's Liturgy of the Word, where children are invited to move to the auditorium for the readings, a homily and prayers of the faithful on their level following the opening prayer. They return for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. (There are some Sundays when, instead of leaving, the children may stay in the church and the priest will call the children forward for a homily that will be geared toward them).
Below are some resources for September to help get you started in our "Family of Faith" program for Grades 1-6!
Basic Family Prayers
Print out this two-page sheet (cardstock would be great) and have the children cut out each prayer. Put them in your family prayer corner so the children can easily access them and practice these important Catholic prayers.

Below is a short video that Sophia Institute has recommended for this year about the family as the Domestic Church. To learn more, see the video below:

First Reconciliation 2025 Online Preparation - Due March 2 *For students in their second year of Sacramental prep (Level 2 / Heritage Yr. 2) For families of students who will be receiving their 1st Reconciliation in March 2025, we ask that you and your child prepare for the Sacrament online by completing this three-part lesson. Special thanks to our grade-level coordinators who helped put this lesson together! In Parts I and II, you and your child will be able to reflect together on God's love and forgiveness through the parable of the Prodigal Son (Part I), and go over how to prepare for and go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Part II). The final part of the lesson is for parents/adults to do on your own and reflect deeper on the power and beauty of this Sacrament (Part III). After completing all three parts, fill out our Google Form (see below). We hope this fosters positive conversations and helps you and your child enter more deeply into the Sacrament of Reconciliati...
